The second English FA Cup semifinal contest takes place this Sunday, April 24th at the famous Wembley Stadium in London, England where Watford will be battling it out with fellow Premier League club Crystal Palace. Watford heads into the game after losing 3-1 on the road to West Ham United in a league contest on Wednesday night while Crystal Palace was downed 2-0 by Manchester United on the road at Old Trafford the same evening. The winner of this clash will face the winner of the Manchester United vs Everton semifinal on April 23rd for the FA Cup at Wembley on Saturday, May 21st.
Time is running out for Manchester United in the English Premier League season if the club hopes to finish in the top four and reach the European Champions League next season. They’ve got five games remaining in the campaign and trail both third-place Manchester City and fourth-place Arsenal by four points. They need to take all three points against a mediocre Crystal Palace side when they host the London team at Old Trafford this Wednesday, April 20th. Palace appears to be safe for another season as they’re nine points ahead of the relegation zone.
