Tottenham Hotspur is making a late push for the club’s first ever English Premier League title this season and have a huge home game against Watford at White Hart Lane in London this Saturday, February 6. Spurs are legitimate contenders for the crown and the worst they’ll want to do is finish in the top four and qualify for next season’s European Champions League. They have four wins n the road along with three draws and four losses with 14 goals for and 15 against. Watford has a pair of clean sheets on the road and has been shut out three times. Overall, they’ve recorded nine clean sheets and have failed to score on eight occasions. They have two wins, three losses and a draw in their last half dozen home fixtures.

Spurs have won three in a row in the league and six straight in all competitions to move just five points behind league-leading Leicester City and are two back of second-place Manchester City. They’ve dropped just four of their last 25 home fixtures. English striker Harry Kane of Tottenham is one of the hottest in the league with 14 goals in his last 15 league outings. Watford has lost their past two road encounters and were shut out in both of them. However, Odion Ighalo is proving he can score league goals and has 14 on the season.

Ryan Mason is expected to miss the game for Tottenham along with Jan Vertonghen and Clinton N’Jie, but young scoring sensation Dele Alli with seven league goals is expected to dress. Watford will be without Joel Ekstrand, but Miguel Angel Britos Cabrera could be back in the lineup.
