Tottenham Hotspur can solidify their top-four standing if they can manage to take all three points from newly-promoted Norwich City when they meet at White Hart Lane in London on Saturday, December 26. Norwich won’t be an easy touch though as they recently proved to Manchester United by downing the famous club 2-1 away at Old Trafford on their last road trip. Tottenham managed to down Southampton 2-0 on the road last weekend at Saint Mary’s down on the south coast.

Tottenham’s lone home defeat was a disappointment as they dropped a 2-1 decision to lowly Newcastle on a late goal. This is Norwich’s second straight road game, but they should have a lot of confidence and momentum after their surprise triumph over Man United. Spurs have been shooting themselves in the foot on occasion this season, such as their loss to Newcastle and their 1-0 defeat at Old Trafford in their season opener due to an own goal. Spurs has also been giving up points due to their high number of draws. The squad needs to develop a killer instinct to turn those one-point games into three points. Alex Pritchard and Clinton N’Jie will miss the game for Spurs while Danny Rose, Ryan Mason and Harry Kane are expected to suit up. Norwich will likely be without Andre Wisdom and Matt Jarvis.
