Cincinnati Bengals defensive end Carlos Dunlap, whom ProFootballFocus.com rates as the league's best 4-3 defensive end, returned to practice on Wednesday but was limited. He injured his hamstring when sacking Matt Hasselbeck for the second time in the Bengals Week 9 victory over the Titans and missed the team's Week 10 game against the Steelers.
According to Bengals.com's Geoff Hobson, Dunlap says he will be a full participant in Thursday's practice. This is good news considering that the Bengals were still able to sack Ben Roethlisberger five times without Dunlap's help and his return would mean a big boost to the team's defensive line in their Week 11 game against the Ravens.
Joe Flacco has struggled at times when he is pressured and no defensive end in the league has been better at pressuring quarterbacks than Carlos Dunlap. Even though Leon Hall's injury leaves the Bengals secondary weaker heading into this huge game, that can be made up for if Flacco doesn't have time go get set and throw to his open receivers.
