Liverpool has dropped down the standings by gaining just one point out of a possible nine in their past three games against inferior opposition. Meanwhile, Leicester will be making their second straight trip to Liverpool as they edged Everton on Merseyside last weekend. They actually have a better record on the road since they’ve yet to face defeat away from home.

Liverpool has suffered from injury problems this year and Martin Skrtel, James Milner, Jordan Rossiter, Danny Ings, Joe Gomez and Jon Flanagan will miss the game. However, Dejan Lovren and goaltender Simon Mignolet are expected to be in the lineup along with the always-injured Daniel Sturridge. Leicester is hoping Vardy, the league’s top scorer, will be ready, but Danny Drinkwater, Jeff Schlupp and Matthew James are all injured.
